  • Contact and networking opportunities with chefs in the United Kingdom and abroad at the key industry events we support.
  • Automatic membership of WACS through the CCC and the opportunity to participate in the WACS World Congress, which is held in a different country every two years. The Congress is a great networking opportunity and a chance to see the world! You can share ideas with colleagues worldwide and participate in the full Congress programme, which includes innovative topics for discussion, culinary workshops and demonstrations by international chefs, as well as enjoying the many and varied social events.
  • The opportunity to compete at the highest level, to demonstrate your talent and to represent your country at both national and international level
  • Direct professional support from an organisation that aims to protect your interests and provides you with advice and information.
  • Chefs Club lunches held at different venues, where members can meet informally and discuss the issues of the day.
  • A lively social calendar, including meetings at various venues, with occasional guest speakers attending, to keep members aware of changes and developments. These meetings are followed by lunch and everyone is made very welcome.
  • Other events include the Annual Dinner and Awards evening, with dancing and entertainment, as well as culinary competitions and sports days, such as golf and football tournaments. Members also receive invitations to main events in the industry.
  • Receive our magazine ‘Culinary News’, giving you the latest information on chefs, products, events and exhibitions worldwide.
  • Log on to our BCF website which provides up to date information on events, news, competitions etc. It gives you easy access if you would like to contact us for information and equally easy links to other culinary websites: www.britishculinaryfederation.co.uk
  • We will offer a range of craft and business courses in conjunction with relevant education and training providers. These will be published in ‘Culinary News’. We already work closely with several top colleges in the UK.
  • Membership gives you the chance to join fellow chefs to raise the standards of your profession and demonstrate your commitment to professionalism
  • The ‘Chefs Shop’ offers a full range of merchandise with the BCF logo, including chefs’ jackets, polo shirts, sweat shirts, fleece jackets, baseball caps, blazer badges, pens and WACS and BCF lapel pins. You can order them online or through ‘Culinary News’.
