BCF Young Chef of the Year 2012

We are delighted to announce that the winner of the BCF Young Chef Competition 2012 is:

Ben Champkin from The Elephant Restaurant, Torquay


Ben wins the David Bache Trophy, a study trip to Luxembourg, cheque for £200, Villeroy & Boch commemorative plate and framed certificate

Second place: Leonidas Kattou from Simpsons Restaurant, Birmingham

Third place:  Lee Warren from Haileybury College, Hertfordshire

The winning menu was:
